While staying in Las Vegas we decided to explore the many hotel options and enjoy as many of the TASTEFUL shows as possible. So each night we found ourselves trying out a different hotel. We stayed in the Holiday Inn in Henderson, NV the first night, then The renaissance Marriot where we were upgraded to a suite for free, then the Planet Hollywood in the center of the strip and across from the Bellagio, and then ended at the Trup Hotel. They all had something different to offer and even though the nightly packing got a little old it was fun and totally worth it. Now amongst our hotel hopping we were able to work in a couple shows. We saw the Lion King Broadway which was amazing, just as I had expected, and we went to Mystere, one of the Cirque de solei shows which was different that I had pictured in my mind but it too was worth it and some of the acrobatics were unbelievable!
The temple was a definite highlight. It was beautiful and it felt so peaceful as we walked around and enjoyed the grounds taking us away from the busy strip in Vegas that is definately polluted with a lot of things we wanted no part of. So the temple was very refreshing. I am so grateful for the blessings of the temple and for the knowledge I have of the gospel as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are so many temptations surrounding us as it is, but we definately walked into a melting pot of them in Vegas and it's good to walk outside and know there are so many peaceful places where the Spirit can be felt.

Yeah for updating your blog! I love the Vegas temple. It is one of my favorite. I went to Vegas a couple weeks ago and went to Lion King. I loved it! Glad to see you are doing great!
