For Nate's Birthday this year we returned to where he served his mission in Arizona. It was wonderful. We had perfect weather, great company, memories, and we couldn't have asked for a better trip! We got to say with Courtney and Tyson, thanks to them for such a fun time, and I loved seeing where he served the Lord and meeting some of the wonderful people he taught while there. Here we hiked Camelback which was a lot harder than it may appear. It was mostly rock and seemed to be straight up all too often, then you'd have a break and I'd think we had made it, but just as I was about to celebrate our "victory" I would look and discover we weren't even close!
Such a beautiful view and perfect weather.

The Mesa temple is beautiful. I only wish we were here a couple weeks later so that I could have seen the famous Christmas lights. You could see they were up, but they were not turning them on yet.
And of course, who can go to Phoenix and not go to a Suns game? Really it was such a blast and we are so happy our friends could come too. Only the one snack I allowed myself to buy was popcorn, I love popcorn, but I'm amazed I'm still alive after that bag...it was the saltiest popcorn I have ever eaten!!! Ever! And I love salt, I used to eat a dash of it plain every so often, but this absolutely unbearable! But a good game and the suns beat the Kings!
